Juniper Networks (NYSE: JNPR) recently reported that its wired and wireless technologies operated by Mist AI had been chosen by the JoongAng Group to transform their network system. JoongAng Group will continue to lead the country with the first-ever AI-powered enterprise network by Juniper while optimizing its operating productivity and versatility for potential business growth.
JoongAng Group was planning to spread its workforce across two buildings as the JTBC Building was completed. As a next-generation network system was being installed, it was decided that a unified experience would be provided for all employees in each building.
The JoongAng Group proposes an infrastructure based on a smart office concept focused on building a fast and seamless wireless network that will allow the two geographically-distributed buildings’ connectivity. All necessary information can be easily transferred through a uniform channel. If the two buildings’ networks weren’t fully integrated, employees would have to go through cumbersome processes, including reinstalling their IP settings and activating them again and again.
Juniper provided the company with wired and wireless network solutions that met all of the company’s needs. These networks were initially deployed a year ago in the JTBC Building and later in the JoongAng Building. In particular, Juniper’s Wireless Access Points powered by Mist AI and integrated with Wi-Fi 6 stand out to provide enterprise-grade performance, an AI engine that substitutes manual IT tasks with proactive automation auto-healing, and the ability to perform batch processing as needed. This year, the integration of the two buildings’ networks was complete, resulting in an exceptional user and device experience.
The company has since launched a system that allows for various security and emergency alerts to be generated using patented virtual Bluetooth LE® technology (with wireless energy delivery), which does not require battery powered beacons. Through Juniper’s AI-driven network, JoongAng Group is a step ahead of the industry in terms of network efficiency, leveraging automation, and insights to reduce IT expenditures and optimize the end-user experience.
